Overview

An EU-funded project under the “Technical Support Instrument (TSI)” to study the possibility of using standardised statistical information to support regulatory impact assessment. More precisely, it analyses the use of statistical information to provide an estimation of administrative costs. This project is being developed in cooperation with OECD and has the collaboration of Statistics Portugal (INE) in developing the Context Cost study.

Objectives

• Update standardised statistical information to estimate the costs to be borne by businesses in complying with administrative obligations imposed by law;
• Update standardised statistical information to estimate the costs to be borne by businesses in complying with administrative obligations imposed by law;
• Formulate a proposal for the use of standardised statistics at the European level.
