On the 18th of May, the Centro de Competências de Planeamento, de Políticas e de Prospetiva (PlanAPP) holds the conference “Thinking about Public Governance, Strengthening trust in institutions and in democracy”, in collaboration with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The event will take place in the auditorium of Torre do Tombo, in Lisbon.

At the present time, the systems and models of public governance are faced with a context of great uncertainty and complexity, which raises new questions and reopens old debates about the role of the State, the coordination and articulation between the various types of entities that make up the central administration and its relationship with society and the citizens they serve.

The conference will be an opportunity to discuss the current challenges of public governance, in an open and inclusive way, with national and international speakers and representatives of the public sector, the private sector and academia.
